EBL Investigation Developments

The investigating committee of the EBL has completed its examination of material relating of the partnerships of Fisher-Schwartz (Israel), Fantoni-Nunes (Monaco) and Piekarek-Smirnov (Germany).

After receiving the reports, the EBL President Yves Aubry decided to complain these 3 cases to the EBL Disciplinary Commission. The Chairman of the EBL Disciplinary Commission Jurica Carić, in relation with the pairs suspected of infractions to the laws of Bridge, has fixed the schedule of the hearings at the Headquarters of the EBL in Lausanne:

• April 14: Piekarek-Smirnov
• April 15 & 16: Fisher-Schwartz
• May 25 & 26: Fantoni-Nunes

On request of the EBL President, the Investigating Committee of the EBL continues to investigate on other pairs. A report concerning Balicki-Zmudzinski (Poland) has been asked by the President for the end of March.

Komisja Śledcza EBL zakończyła analizę rozdań dotyczących wspólnej gry par: Fisher-Schwartz (Izrael), Fantoni-Nunes (Monaco) i Piekarek - Smirnov (Niemcy).
Po otrzymaniu raportów, Prezydent EBL Yves Aubry zdecydował o przekazaniu spraw tych trzech par do Komisji Dyscyplinarnej EBL. Przewodniczący Komisji Dyscyplinarnej EBL Jurica Caric, po uzgodnieniu z parami podejrzanymi o naruszenie prawa brydżowego ustalił termin przesłuchań w siedzibie EBL w Lozannie:

• 14 kwietnia: Piekarek - Smirnov
• 15 kwietnia: Fisher - Schwartz
• 25 i 26 maja: Fantoni - Nunes

Na prośbę Prezydenta EBL Komisja Śledcza EBL będzie kontynuowała analizę gry innych par. Prezydent poprosił Komisję, aby raport dotyczący pary Balicki - Żmudziński został opracowany do końca marca.
